Ordering and payment
What payment methods do you take?
We take credit and debit cards through Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored by us. The payment page is encrypted.
What name appears on my statement?
If you do not recognize a charge, email us with the amount and date and we will identify the order.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. Email support@avelunec.com. After 24 hours the order is usually already being picked.
Do you charge sales tax?
If sales tax applies to your order, it is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
Shipping
How long will it take?
3 to 5 business days to process, then 8 to 12 business days in transit — 11 to 17 business days in total. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding U.S. public holidays.
Is there a daily cut-off?
Yes. Orders placed before 6:00 PM MT, Monday to Friday, start processing the same day. Anything after that, or on a weekend or public holiday, starts on the next business day.
Why does it take that long?
Because the parcel starts at a partner warehouse overseas rather than a U.S. distribution center. Full detail on the Shipping & Delivery page.
What does shipping cost?
$7.95 flat, or free when your order total after discounts is $60 or more.
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico?
No. We ship to the 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C. only, and we do not ship to APO, FPO or DPO addresses.
Can you deliver to a P.O. Box?
Yes. Those orders go by USPS, since FedEx does not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
Will I pay customs charges?
No. Import duty is included in the price you paid. If a carrier ever does bill you an import charge, send us the receipt and we will refund it.
Returns
How long do I have?
30 days from the day the parcel is delivered.
Do I pay for the return?
No. We email you a prepaid label. There is no restocking fee.
How long do I have to send it back once I have the label?
Please ship it within 14 days of receiving the label.
Do I get the $7.95 delivery charge back?
Not if you simply changed your mind. Yes, in full, if the item was faulty, damaged or not what you ordered.
How long until I am refunded?
5 to 7 business days after the warehouse receives your parcel, then a further 3 to 10 business days for your bank to post it.

Sizing and product
Do your jackets run true to size?
We do not make a blanket claim, because these styles are cut differently from one another — several are deliberately oversized. Each product page says how that particular style is cut. See Size & Fit for how to check before you buy.
What fabric is it?
Where we have confirmed the composition we state it. Where we have not, we describe the surface and construction instead and leave composition off. Email us if you need it for a specific style and we will ask the supplier.
Do you have a physical store?
No. Avelunec is online only.
