About Avelunec

What we sell

Avelunec sells one category and tries to do it properly: women's outerwear. Blazers, fleece and sherpa zip-ups, plaid shackets and fleece-lined denim — the layers you actually reach for between September and March. Across the range sizes run from XS to 5X, though not every style is made in every size; the size selector on each product page shows exactly what exists for that jacket, and the plus-size styles are listed on their own page so you are not scrolling past sizes that were never made.

How we operate

We are an online-only shop. There is no Avelunec store, showroom or outlet, and we do not have our own warehouse.

We buy finished garments from suppliers in China. Those suppliers hold the stock, and when you place an order their partner warehouse picks and packs it and sends it to you; it then clears customs and is handed to USPS or FedEx for the last leg. That is why delivery takes 11 to 17 business days rather than two, and we would rather say so on the product page than surprise you after you have paid.

Returns are handled inside the United States, at a facility in Chino, California, so sending something back is a domestic parcel and costs you nothing.

What we will not do

We do not publish customer reviews we did not receive, countdown timers that reset, or stock counters that are not real. If a page says a jacket has patch pockets, it is because the jacket has patch pockets.

Where we do not have information — fabric composition on some styles, for instance — we leave it off rather than guess. If you need a detail before you buy, email us and we will ask the supplier.
